Co-developed a safety-critical event-driven control architecture.

Embedded from discovery through delivery on a safety-critical oil rig control platform. Co-developed an event-driven architecture over RabbitMQ and gRPC that replaced fragmented hardware control systems with a single unified platform, engineered real-time SVG visualizations tracking more than 10,000 data points at subsecond tolerance, and contributed to the Figma design system by building components and feeding engineering constraints back into the design.

Ramp Control and Real-Time Telemetry

Led front-end discovery and implementation for control surfaces where the interface is part of the safety system, not a dashboard afterthought. The ramp view combines pressure targets, choke state, bit and hole depth, flow readings, and live curves; the deeper work is SVG telemetry, coordinate precision, and subsecond updates that match active rig constraints.

Co-developed the tripping workflow from client engineering requirements through usable controls, balancing dense field data with operator comprehension. The advanced table supports depth-based pressure and speed targets, validation, and edit states while live gauges keep pressure, hookload, trip speed, block height, and flow readings visible during configuration.

Translated the same safety-critical model into a basic mode for operators who need fast control over static pressure, dynamic pressure, and hookload thresholds. This is where product judgment and engineering constraints meet: preserve the rig visualization and live gauges, reduce the input surface, and keep the workflow dependable under field pressure.
